Our History
Fogg camera bags were created out of necessity. After experiencing the frustration of using badly designed and inadequate bags across several continents, Nigel Fogg and Bee Berman decided to stop complaining — and start designing.
Nigel, a craftsman-designer and former curator of photographs, and Bee, a set and documentary photographer, spent over a year developing and refining what they called “The Ultimate Camera Bag.” With input and feedback from working photographers, they produced more than twenty-five prototypes before arriving at the final design — one that combined practicality, protection, and a quiet elegance.
Originally produced in London, Fogg bags are now carefully made by hand in small batches in Carayac, a village in the South West of France. Every bag is individually numbered, guaranteed, and fitted with thoughtful features — including adjustable cotton dividers, foldaway grab straps, and optional accessories like tripod straps, waist belts, and shoulder pads.
From the beginning, Fogg has stayed true to its purpose: to make something that not only works — but lasts.
